Conflict-Free Mineral

UICO, LLC is committed to ensuring we are not sourcing minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold) that fund armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries. We do not ban sourcing of minerals from this region because such a policy may harm legitimate miners.

We require smelters within our supply chain to take part in the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), formerly Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) or equivalent smelter audit initiatives. In this way we do our best to obtain validated assurance that metals within our supply chain are conflict-free.
While some of the 3TG materials are intentionally added or used in the product and remain, UICO, LLC continues working to identify the smelters in our supply chain source for the 3TG from the covered countries, per the SEC terms. We have determined the smelters in our supply chain source of the 3TG are not from conflict-affected and high-
